Judi! my artist friend, how nice to see you here.

not on the wall, and sitting with many objects on top of my low bookshelves…

This is just what i do with the small pieces. I slip them under plexiglas (that is how these poems are finished too) then put them on a little easel. I bought a bunch of plain black wire ones at Michaels a few years ago. I think they were $3.00 each. Little paintings rotate around the house on all the flat surfaces. I love the intimacy of the little ones next to my favorite books.

ps Zamma and Ulli-Maki perked right up at the miao. They are snugged close to the woodstove tonight. Whatever memories they have of being feral must be in their dreams now, for they seem very pleased with a nice cozy spot next to the "canopener" (me).

Ellen, thanks for last years 'trees' of winter, which I have framed in my living room, but on a plate stand, not on the wall, and sitting with many objects on top of my low bookshelves....these are really beautiful.

Hej Neith,
Thanks for the well wishes.
It's true the small pieces are intimate, meant to be near. Most of my work is very large, these are a delight to paint, spontaneous outpourings of joy.

Big sweet kisses for my St. B and onward we go. Jubilation!

I'm listening to some get-down crazy blues tonight and sending electrical impulses into the universe. All kinds of impulses. And they're coming back. Alive and well!
