Deep in November

Here there is a little of everything
and if you have eyes to see with
you don’t need to search

Northern lights flare up
ice pearls ignite
mountain fox tracks decorate the tundra
and every new day you wake up
to the laughter of ptarmigans

This that they call the dark season

   Love the Valkeapää quote! One of the little joys of fresh snow is following the tracks of our visitors - the raccoons, deer & coyote plus all the birds. They all have their stories to tell.

   This is just getting better and better, tseka. The blend of images and words is very magical to me.

   Thank you for your words. Life needs to slow down a notch here then i will begin the story of Njörðr the mythical image that corresponds to the cycle we have just entered; Capricorn. With your passion for astrology and depth of understanding i will be curious how you see this Nordic view of Capricorn
