Far mountain range
This is where my heart lives
Eighteen hundred miles from me
the tides roll in and out
I feel them in my body still
hear the wind in the fir tops
smell the salt flats
This is where my heart lives
Eighteen hundred miles from me
the tides roll in and out
I feel them in my body still

Tseka, did I share this link with you already? I thought of you when I saw the work of this artist.

I was talking to someone about Whidbey & the San Juans the other day and experienced this longing too. The water, the light, the scents on the breeze flowing from the sea to land and the gulls crying overhead. And yet I too live on the dry side of the Cascade range . . .
Joe, that artist is GOOD! thanks for sharing the link!
