With a view like that no wonder you like living there . . . :)

I completely agree about using a digital camera too. Film cameras came with too much expense and clutter for me. Tweaking a digital image is a matter of moments instead of dealing with extremely toxic chemicals in a darkroom.

However, my dad did take some great photos and developed them himself in the 40's & 50's. Growing up watching him in the darkroom, it's sort of odd I didn't take more interest in photography. hmmmmmm

No, not a painting, but it would make a good watercolour, wouldn't it? It is a view of the horizon from my northwest facing patio of a February sky that brought snow flurries then escaped inland.

I know about the desire for a camera. I broke down and bought a good one last year. I have not been sorry. I have never really used a camera before except to photograph my art. I find it very fun - this digital instant results photography suits me.

Wow! Is this a painting? It's BEAUTIFUL! I'm just about ready to throw in the towel and use my credit card to buy a camera...I'd love to post pictures of my work in progress. Thank you for the inspiration my dear friend.
