Abuzz - grand opening
BEES
wildones
honeybees
Hummingbirds
all arrived today just as the first Apricot blossoms unfurled.

Those blessed bees. Without them, we’d starve.

Ja, so true. Just as the totem in the previous post suggests we are all connected - tasting each other in the whole.
We have not seen a shortage of bees here, in fact the wild bees; small black ones seem to be more prolific in the past few years. They declined few seasons ago and we thought they were lost due to some infection.
There will be a blizzard of bees here soon when the ash unfurls her catkins.
Good to see you Joe!

Apricot blossoms! Around here is one small golden crocus blooming . . . Thank you for a lovely reminder of what is coming. We did see a few willows with a sheer wash of pale green this past weekend driving across south central Washington - a balm for winter weary eyes!
