Ja, hej Diane, There are many different namnsdag calendars around in many language / cultures. I have been looking at several. I know that Diana turns up 29 Januari in some, but for several reasons I prefer the 3 November. This places the name within Gormanudar Month. This is a time of hunting and preparing the meats for the winter. Diana goddess of the hunt, and woodlands fits more with the story of the namnsdags of that season than the imagery of Thorri the dead of winter. Wonder what you think?

I did find a Swedish namnsdag calendar listing "Diana" on 29 January . . . looking forward to seeing your compilation of namnsdags and images of your paintings. Great idea!!
