Please keep us informed of what's going on with her and when and where she's seen again. Your property must be quite beautiful. What other little Brothers and Sisters share it with you? If you don't mind my asking.

Lynda, what a great story from your childhood. I agree it would be wonderful to live in a place that would consider winding the May pole.

White Raven has not been seen for a while. Her habits are curios. The Raven clan who lives around my property do not leave. When the simps mature they find a location nearby. The valley is filled with this clan. We have seen White Raven in three locations within a 50 mile radius. Each year she moves. I saw her several times last year up on the mesa to the west of me. There are many now who are watching for her.

Good Morning!

Happy May Day to you too. When I was in grade school the 1st-3rd graders would wind the May Pole. I loved it! We would practice for a week or two before the "event". I loved the flowers on top of the poles and the beautiful colored ribbons. Sometimes a pole would even be perfection, altho it was rare for no mistakes to be made during the actual ceremony. Then some ones decided celebrating May Day wasn't "the thing" to do. Sigh. I still miss it. Would love to wind the pole again some day. Would actually love to live someplace where a May Day celebration would even be considered.

The flowers are beautiful, thank you for sharing.

And by the way, have you seen the white raven lately?
