I love rain and mist and your image, Misty Trail, enchants me. When I lived in San Diego walking on the beach when the fog/mist was billowing about was wonderful and freeing.
Truth is is rather like rain and mist not fog tho.
The intensity of the sun in summer here is beyond bearable. I am shocked every year that i’ve survived another summer. What is the redeeming quality of the desert for me is the night sky. Oh my.
I remember how the weight of the Sun/heat fell on the body and mind when I lived in Tucson. Even in the dog days of Summer, it’s not as bad here plus the heat doesn’t last as long.

True there is something wonderful and freeing that comes with the rain and mist. We gals from the Pacific Northwest do know our rain and mist!

And we both live in places with far more sun than rain & mist. Very wise, yes?!
